Good value when bought in the sale
Bought this jacket for a bike backing trip to Wales wanted something reasonably lightweight and packs down small.think I paid about £35 in the sale including delivery and Was pleased with my purchase at that price Not sure if I would actually pay the £60 that is being asked at the time of this reviewbut.as I have seen on other reviews the hood is rather large

Warm and lightweight.
Warm and comfortable as well as long in the body so it doesn't ride up but the hood is gigantic. Its made for use with a helmet but has no draw cord. Without a helmet it is much much too big and useless.

Quality, value for money
I’ve bought several items from Surfanic now and have been highly satisfied by everything, not least the luggage, so I thought I’d give this coat a try, as the price is so cheap. The coat is good quality, I’ve had it for a year and it is going very well. I was worried it would be too light for the NE weather but I’ve not had to wear it with a load of layers underneath, so it must be warm! It’s very plain, which I like, the hood is a good size - sometimes the hood is an afterthought and practically unusable, but this is a good size and warm. Needless to say, there is nothing waterproof at all about this coat - it’s a sponge. If
you are in two minds, I’d say go for it with this coat - it’s decent, and so incredibly cheap.
