Payment Methods

Credit/Debit Card payments can be made using Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Solo, Visa Debit and Maestro.

We are unable to accept cheques, cash, or postal orders. It is imperative that you provide the cardholder's name as it is shown on the card, and the address exactly as it appears on the card statement.

Pay for your item in just a few clicks with PayPal, a leader in secure online payments. No PayPal account required. If you have one already, check out quickly – with no need to enter your debit or credit card details. Orders placed using Paypal may be subject to additional security checks and therefore we cannot guarantee delivery time frames.

No responsibility can be taken by Surfanic International Ltd. for incorrect, or incomplete details submitted on the website. Orders without this information may not be successfully processed.

Card fraud is illegal and perpetrators will be prosecuted in all instances.

Payment Card Security

We use PayPal as our payment provider to give added security for you when making a purchase. We do not hold your credit card details in any form whatsoever.  Any other personal details you provide are encrypted using SSL (secure socket layer) security with 128bit encryption to ensure that your details remain secure.  Privacy Policy information gathered as a result of your visit, or placing an order on this site, will not be divulged to any third party except for purposes of delivering goods.

To ensure that your credit, debit or charge card is not being used without your consent, we will validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party databases.

During security checks we may ask for additional information or documentation to help support the data you have supplied.

Contract

After placing an order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a Product. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an e-mail that confirms that we have accepted your order (the Acceptance Confirmation) The contract between us (Contract) will only be formed when we send you the Acceptance Confirmation.

The Contract will relate only to those Products we have confirmed in the Acceptance Confirmation. We will not be obliged to supply any other Products which may have been part of your order until the acceptance of such Products has been confirmed in a separate Acceptance Confirmation.

Any drawings, photographs, descriptions or advertising we issue, and any photographs, descriptions or illustrations contained on our site, are issued or published solely to provide you with an approximate idea of the Products they describe. They do not form part of the Contract between you and us or any other contract between you and use for the sale of the Products.

The Products will be at your risk from the time of delivery.

Ownership of the Products will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the Products, including delivery charges.

Discounts and Offers

Saving money is a good thing. Please remember that applied promotion codes/discount codes, cannot be used retrospectively on orders and may not be redeemed for cash. Some discounts may only be applied to sale-priced items (regular-priced items may be excluded) or vice versa. 

Only one promotion can be applied per order. The last code you enter will be the one that gets applied. Double discounts are not permitted on this site.  If a double discount is applied we will contact you regarding this and refund the order.

Postage and Packaging

Every order is shipped directly from the UK. We offer two delivery methods, the first will take 6-8 business days and the second using UPS takes 3-4 business days. The stated delivery period within which you will receive your order is approximate. If an item is out of stock we will contact you regarding this . All orders will be sent to the address given by you in your order.

Any order placed outside of business hours may not be shipped until the next business day. Any orders placed outside business hours on a Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday. Please note Surfanic classify a working day as Monday-Friday 9.00am-5pm (excluding National Holidays). Deliveries may require a signature on arrival.

Free Postage Offer

Free postage is available on all orders over $100. If you select this delivery method your order will be sent on a 6-8 business day service. As the all orders are sent from the UK your order will be sent using Roayal Mail for the UK leg and then the USPS for the USA leg of its journey. Surfanic International Ltd. reserve the right to amend this offer at any time and without notice.

Tracking

All orders are tracked so there is no need to worry about it getting lost. If you have not recieved tracking information on your despatch confirmation emails then there are two things you can do. The first is to login to your account and check to see if tracking information has been attached to your order and the second is to contact our customer services team and they will help you locate the parcel.

Customs Fees

Shipments form the UK to the USA come under federal import rules and regulations. This means that duties and taxes can be incurred as the parcel enters the country. Now dont panic as our system is designed to work this out and settle it on your behalf. If by some chance we make a mistake and you have to make a customs payment when you recieve your parcel please send us the proof of payment and any customs paperwork you are presented with and we will happily reimburse you.

Liability

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (Force Majeure Event).

A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes in particular (without limitation) the following:

  1. strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action;
  2. civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war;
  3. fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster;
  4. impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport;
  5. impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks;
  6. the acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.

Our performance under any Contract is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will have an extension of time for performance for the duration of that period. We will use our reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under the Contract may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.

Tax Charges

All adult garments have 20% VAT included in the prices quoted. Childrens garments have 0% VAT included in the prices quoted.

Returns Policy

Surfanic International Ltd is confident that you will be very happy with your purchase, however if you wish to return any item we will be happy to offer you a full refund

  • All goods returned must be in a new and unused condition, and returned with the original proof of purchase.
  • Returned items must be received within 365 days of delivery to qualify for a refund.
  • Return items received after 365 days of delivery will not be refundable and will not be credited.
  • Gift cards/vouchers cannot be returned or exchanged for cash
  • Please note goods purchased online at Surfanic.com/us cannot be returned at any other Surfanic retailer.
  • Any product purchased from a Surfanic retailer must be returned to that original retailer for a refund or exchange in line with their individual policy.
  • Please note Surfanic do not cover the cost of return postage. Please ensure the correct charge is made for your Return.
  • Additional Information – We recommend using a tracked return postage service allowing up to 10 business days.  If the value of your return is over $200 we recommend paying for additional compensation protection at the postal office.

2 Year Guarantee

We guarantee all products purchased from Surfanic to be free of defects in materials or workmanship. We will replace products, which are shown to be faulty covering a period of two years from the date of purchase, provided that the alleged faulty product is returned to Surfanic where the goods were purchased accompanied by the original purchase receipt.

The product must not have been handled negligently or used otherwise than in accordance with its care instructions or recommended use, and/or any other party has not attempted repairs to the product. Replaced products are covered for the remainder of the original guarantee period only.

This guarantee does not apply to faults caused by natural wear and tear and does not infer any rights other than those expressly set out above. This guarantee does not cover any claims for consequential loss or damage. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Data Security

By registering any of your personal details with us, you are agreeing to allow us to contact you regarding any of our own products or services. We may pass your details to a third party unless otherwise indicated to by you.

Pricing

All prices shown are cash prices in sterling. We reserve the right to alter or amend these prices at any time and without prior notice.

Prices of goods displayed on Surfanic.com/us may vary from prices displayed in any other authorised Surfanic retailer.

The price of any Products will be as quoted on our site, except in cases of obvious error.

Our site contains a large number of Products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a Product's correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the Product to you. If a Product's correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the Product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection.

We are under no obligation to provide the Product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a Acceptance Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mis-pricing.

Your Right of Cancellation

  1. You have the right to cancel the contract from the date the order was placed and up to fifteen working days after delivery, (beginning the day after delivery).
  2. To exercise your right of cancellation, you must provide us with written notice. You must do this by giving details of the goods ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery.   3. Once you have notified us that you are cancelling the contract, you must return the goods to, Big Adventure Sports, 2403 Shannon Ridge Drive, West Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, V4T 1T4. You are advised to send the goods by recorded delivery or other traceable means.
  4. Once you have notified us that you are cancelling the contract, we will refund or credit you as soon as possible (within 30 days). We will refund you for any sum that has been paid by you for the goods.
  5. You have a duty of care, under these terms, to take care of the goods so that they may be sold again as new. We will claim, from you, for the resulting loss in value for goods not kept so that they may be sold again as new.
